| Camp Pioneer: Celebrating 60 Years! Camp Pioneer is 60 Years Old! Hundreds of children across the state of Mississippi and beyond have fond memories of time spent at Camp Pioneer. Please join us in the celebration of our 60th anniversary of impacting lives and spreading the word of God. Many of you have been a vital part of the ministry and we have no doubt that you will agree that any institution that has lasted for 60 years is noteworthy. This is especially true when that institution has spent 60 years helping boys, girls and families become better citizens of their communities and of the society at large. We think you will also agree that such an institution is worthy of your support. We are such an institution and, since 1948, Camp Pioneer has been educating and equipping young people to live the abundant life in Christ. Hundreds of children have gone on to be productive citizens throughout various sectors of our society and our record continues to prove itself through you, the recipients. As a part of our anniversary celebration, our goal is to raise $100 for each of our 60 years. We are asking you, our camp friends, alumni, volunteers, visitors, and contributors, to make a contribution of $60 or more towards this goal but please know that your gift in any amount will be deeply appreciated.
